Sorry the bloods were high - how high were they? It may well be the sinus problems though and they'll have dropped again next week or it could be active RA as you're off the mtx now.

Love,

Amanda

Oh Mel, there is bound to be some light at the end of this tunnel.

Glad the diabetes test came back negative .... you surely don't need that on your plate as well!

Hope the joints start to feel better soon x x

Hi Melly, glad you didnt have diabetes. Sounds like the other results arent too good though. Let us know how it goes with the next tests. You have had alot to cope with recently health wise, and could do with some good news. Take care, thinking of you, (((hugs)))

I wouldn't worry Mel.
WBC and ESR would be raised because of the sinus infection, and the CRP even if it hasn't done that before, it was probably the mtx keeping it down.

Thanks
well im in flare for definite gp said but just wants know what level without infection,
my crp only ever been this high with flare.
infection gone, and esr yes very true it goes up for me with virus or infecton for me crp never has he wants see both without infection.

oh yes not all bad in fact most of it very good i mean no sign any lupus advancement which to me is most of my concern, especially as it wasnt controled when came off mtx.

i dont go into numbers because we all vary so much me doc going by my normal range over period 2 years, and now establishing pattern not on mtx.
.
yes barbs is right i been struggling some months since abscess upset apple cart.

so plan is book in for bloods at Gp surgery got phelbotoist there for next week.
see what results are then call rheumy nurse.

rheumy nurse i say casue i find gp only gives low dose stuff they wont give me the big depo like rheumy does and wont give oral steriod without rheumy agreement.

basically walking is becoming hard, knees, doing anything with hands becoming trickier all this was much improved after depo shot.
ive got fluid building up on knees anti inflammtories are doing NOTHING,so i shall be asking stop them for sure they havnt worked since i had only mild ra age 17 but they insited i try again.

wbc ohh yes not woried or esr they will go down quickly now infection gone.
al i know is glad taken seriously that there reason im hot around knees all time, hands all time, feet.

so heres to next bloods showing clear picture.

see when gp sees bloods they go cautious rheumy nurse ses them and at the levels id been at evn before came off mtx she would say oh my dear its all over show we need get the rains on this ra for you.

so i shall definely call her when bloods done ask see her time is about due anyway.
how often you all see a rheumy nurse casue ive only seen her Twice in 2 years.

Hello Melly

Good news that you dont have diabetis. I hope your next lot of blood tests are much better and those levels come down and you get something to reduce the pain. You have been having a rough time of it of late. Hope you have had time to sit and enjoy your garden. Happy to hear your cat is getting better

take care

Oh Melly, you really seem to be having a rough time at the moment. At least there is good news that you are not diabetic.

I only have to ring my RA nurse's up and I can see one normally within a week or two, there is three. I have only seen two of them and they were really nice.

Take Care

Paula x x

Melly, It's so annoying that different areas of the country have different amounts of staff for the same jobs!!
If we need to see Laura its like trying to get in touch with MI5
Anyway, hope the pain is easing, and that all infection has now left you! Looking forward to next week end's meet up!! Lots of love x xSmile
